Despite how the last few years have impacted many of us entrepreneurs, there’s no denying we live in an incredible time.
Pre-internet, planning, launching and growing a business used to involve extreme upfront investments of time, money, and hard work to have the slightest hope of success. Then as the internet entered our lives, a whole new economy emerged with incredible opportunities for people the world over.

Even with the recent advent of AI and increasing automation capabilities, you might’ve been feeling like things are getting far too technical and you need a Computer Science degree if you want to start an online business.
There’s now been a sudden burst of dramatic progress with AI and automation that this year will accelerate advances 10-20 years forward, thanks to a new tool you may have heard of: ChatGPT.
ChatGPT is a conversational chatbot that acts as a smart robot assistant: whatever you ask it for, it tries to provide to you. It’s surprisingly good at understanding what you’re asking and it remembers the full conversation before each request.
Like any tool, it has its limitations, but with each passing day, people are discovering just how loose those limitations really are, as they ask it to do increasingly advanced things and get shocked as ChatGPT spits out an answer in a matter of seconds, for free (for the moment).
It’s also rapidly improving, with the new GPT-4 version having just been released on March 14th which eliminated many past weaknesses ChatGPT had.
The best part is that it takes no technical know-how to use ChatGPT despite it being one of the most technically advanced tools humankind has ever seen.
You might be thinking “that’s great…now what?” The challenge for many business owners comes down to resistance, and it’s now become super easy for even the least technically inclined to make use of AI, but the hurdle is in actually getting started to use it.
Until now, no one has really scratched the surface of how valuable ChatGPT can be beyond replacing busywork.
The vast majority of people using ChatGPT for their business have been using it no differently than the AI tools that already existed: simply to write blog posts or social posts in a generic voice. Others are using it like a Google that tells them the correct result for a query.
Basically, most people are using it as a hammer to hammer nails rather than as a collective brain to help them think.
When we first came across ChatGPT, we did what everyone does: asked it a bunch of random stuff! It’s hard to resist.
But as we realized just how powerful it was, we stretched the limits of its power in ways we didn’t think would be possible. Could ChatGPT actually make the more intelligent parts of starting, running, and growing an online business easy?
We put it to the test with one of the most fundamental but challenging parts: planning out a business, which we then did for multiple new businesses we were starting.
It passed with flying colors!

Sharon has a storied history in business and was heavily successful online before most people had begun using the internet. Sharon was a pioneer in email marketing back when most entrepreneurs didn’t know how to reliably bulk email their leads and customers, and became an influential businesswoman on Twitter before it inevitably exploded in popularity. Sharon’s playground is diving into what’s new ahead of the masses and making things easy peasy for entrepreneurs and organizations of all sizes to implement.
Steve entered the business space through the domain name industry, recognizing it was still relatively new and ripe with opportunity, and used systematization and automation to succeed where many others failed. He has since helped many business owners better leverage technology to reduce manual work and multiply the results from their existing resources.
We both are always on the lookout for new tech advances and how they may be game-changing even if the masses don’t recognize it, and we’ve never been more excited to show entrepreneurs like you something new and revolutionary, because we really feel this will change business as we know it.
Sharon Hayes is a growth architect and business strategist.
She currently serves as CEO of Venture Asset Group Incorporated and is the chairwoman of multiple corporate boards. With business experience spanning over 3 decades, Sharon has built over two dozen businesses with an impressive client roster that has included hundreds of well known corporate brands, educational institutions, politicians and celebrities. She has also worked extensively with organizations of all sizes on strategic growth objectives.
Sharon is extremely passionate about technology. In the mid-1990’s, she built a business focused on helping corporations and government agencies move from old-school workstations on mainframe computers to PC desktops focused on database creation and use. She then moved into the online world in 1998 creating an email list management company that utilized personalized email and web experiences with clients ranging from Porsche to Tom Peters to IBM to CBS to American Standard. Her next big move was with a digital marketing agency focused on automating launches, lead generation and more.
Sharon is a proud alumni of John Molson School of Business (Concordia University).
Sharon’s other passions include travel, cryptocurrency, domain names, gamification, continued learning, human design, guitar playing, charcuterie, and motivation research.
Steve Jones is a branding, marketing and growth strategist helping businesses since 2004, currently serving as CEO of Domainate Incorporated. Having spearheaded thousands of growth initiatives across hundreds of businesses, Steve has been integral to taking many businesses to new levels of revenue and profit, having directly touched every facet of the online growth process at some point.
With a background in mathematics and programming, Steve takes a data-driven, analytical approach in working with businesses and specializes in discovering weak points of opportunity where simple improvements can massively increase the bottom line.
Steve is very passionate about staying on the leading edge of advancements in technology, in particular automation. He has helped many businesses automate their growth engines, integrate systems together to automate flow of data, and build complex automated email and SMS sequences to foster growth and retention.
Steve’s other passions include domain names, songwriting, tennis, and seeing the positive impact of small businesses he’s helped grow.
